Introduction.
I’ve been into Apex for a few months now, and I’ve been working on it rather a lot with friends from university and people from work.
It’s a lot of fun.
I’ve never played FPS before because I get drunk, but everyone else is playing and my friends recommended it to me, so I’m playing.
I’m good at gaming, but I’m not good at shooting guns at all…
I’m still ranked silver.
I’m a PC player, so when I play Apex, I can look things up on the other screen while I’m playing the game.
It’s a trick I can do because I have two screens, but when I click on the other screen at that time, Apex is minimised.
Apex is minimised.
This makes it a hassle to have to reopen the game every time.
It’s not a big problem when I’m in the lobby or doing target practice, but if I’m playing Lankhmar or Casual and I click on another screen at some point, I’m in trouble.
You’re sure to instantly become a death box.
I’ll leave you with a simple but effective way to prevent this from happening.

Cause.
Check the settings immediately.
When Apex is started, the screen looks like this.
From there, use ‘Esc’ to open the settings screen.
Click on ‘Settings’. (You may already know the settings here, as they are used in many other settings.)
If the ‘Screen mode’ is set to ‘Full screen’ in the settings here,
Apex will be minimised when you click on the screen of another monitor.
Solution.
Very easy!
Simply set the ‘Screen Mode’ to ‘Borderless Window’.
This will allow you to play Apex while playing Discord etc. without any problems!
(However, if you select off-screen, you won’t hear any in-game music at all. Lovely specs).
Conclusion.
